Paul A. Remboldt, 63, of Vergas, MN, died Sunday, December 2, 2007, near his home in Vergas. Paul A. Remboldt was born October 23, 1944, in Jamestown, North Dakota, son of Archie and Irene (Clark) Remboldt. He attended Jamestown Elementary School and graduated from Jamestown High School in 1962. Paul went on to attend Jamestown College from 1962 – 1966, and graduated with a B.A. Degree in Sociology. Paul was employed with Richland County Social Services from 1966 – 1968. In 1970, he received his Masters Degree in social work from Arizona State University. Paul went to work for the Jamestown State Hospital and South Central Human Service Center. He joined Southeast Human Service Center in Fargo, North Dakota in 1984. In 1995, Paul worked as Assistant Professor of Social Work for UND School of Social Work in Grand Forks, North Dakota. He retired on May 2, 2007. Paul is survived by his sisters, Sharon (Tom)Elhard, Galt, CA; Sandy (Bob) Peterson, Lodi, CA; his brother, David (Kathy) Remboldt, Mandan, ND; nieces and nephews, Greg Allen Elhard, Beth Goehring, Sacramento, CA; Sara Larson, Stockton, CA; Ron Peterson, Kenya; Nathan Remboldt, Aurora, CO; Krista Remboldt, Riverside, CA; his aunt, Mary (Clark) Wehmhofer, Bismarck, ND; great nieces and nephews; and many special friends.
