Paul “Cliff” Hogendorn, 84, of Fargo, died Friday, March 19, 2010 at Villa Maria, Fargo, ND. Paul Clifford Hogendorn was born July 10, 1925 at Leigh, NE, to John and Elsie (Glandt) Hogendorn. He lived on the farm and attended Glandt School before serving in the US Army in 1950. He served in Korea and Japan until 1952, and then he moved back to the farm. In 1954, he moved to North Dakota and worked for Pioneer Seed in Wahpeton and Drees Farms in Grand Forks. He later moved to Fargo and drove a cab for Doyle’s Cab. He is survived by three brothers, John (Marcella) Hogendorn, Sartell, MN, Gene (Marilyn) Hogendorn, Englewood, CO and Don (Karen) Hogendorn, Norfold, NE; two sisters, Della Pont, Little Falls, MN and Arlene (Edward) Hradec, Clarkson, NE; sister-in-law, Elvira Hogendorn, Leigh, NE and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Harold and Merle Hogendorn; sister, Hazel Hogendorn; sister-in-law, Jane Hogendorn and brother-in-law, Vernon Pont. Memorial Service: Saturday, March 27, 2010, 11:00 AM at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo, ND. Visitation: One hour prior to services at Hanson-Runsvold. Burial: North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan, ND.
