Patricia Jean Zalusky

Patricia Jean Zalusky, 86 of Fargo, died Wednesday, January 29, 2014, at Bethany on University.

Patricia was born on September 7, 1927, in Fargo to parents Ernie and Cora (Chapman) Ludwigsen. She grew up in Fargo and graduated from Fargo Central.

Patricia married Ralph William Zalusky, Sr., on February 14, 1947 in Fargo. They made their home in Fargo and West Fargo, where Patricia worked as a secretary throughout her career, later retiring from Steiger Tractor. She was an avid bridge player and enjoyed bowling, crafts, knitting, and sewing. She also enjoyed spending summers at Tulaby Lake.

Patricia is survived by her children, Ralph W. “Bill” (Kathleen) Zalusky, Jr., of Turtle Lake, WI; Coral Jean Zalusky of Reno, NV; Jim (Lisa) Zalusky of Mapleton, ND, and Chris (Cathi) Zalusky of Douglass, KS; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and special friend John Graber.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ralph, brother Robert Ludwigsen, and sister Mary Ann Slaperud.
