Patricia Ann Panos was born July 5, 1943 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Michael and Marjorie Panos. Patty, or Pat, as she was known to her friends, graduated from Fargo Central High School, Class of 1961. After high school, she attended the New York Hairdressing Academy in Fargo. On July 9, 1966, she married Richard Loomis. Together, they had two children, Tom and Shawna. Before becoming a stay-at-home mom, Pat worked for American State Bank and Bell Telephone. She often talked about how she enjoyed working for the Fargo and Grand Theatres as a teenager.
Patricia loved being a wife and mother and was devoted to her nine grandkids and two great-grandkids. She enjoyed socializing with her many close friends and neighbors, and remained a loyal Fargo Central “Midget”, often meeting with old high school friends for lunch. Patty also loved spending many afternoons shopping with her daughter.
Patricia A. Loomis passed away June 15, 2013 after a brave battle with a long illness.
