Patricia F. Johnson

June 5, 1950 — May 15, 2021

Patricia "Trish" Johnson was born June 5, 1950, in Chapin, Iowa to Donald and Dorothy Buss. She lived in Iowa before moving to the Twin Cities in MN, attending schools there. In her younger years she loved to go to the stables and ride the horses bareback. She then moved to Hawley, MN and later to the Fargo/Moorhead area.

On October 11, 2007 she married Leon Johnson. Trish worked at many Fargo hotels and worked her way up to head housekeeper and retired in 2016.

Trish liked fishing and riding motorcycle. She also liked to cook. Some of her son's favorites were homemade chocolate topping for ice cream, chili, and biscuits and gravy. Leon's favorite was her homemade gravy. Trish enjoyed watching mystery/drama crime shows. Trish did like her coffee, that would be the first thing she had when she woke up and the last thing she had before she went to bed. Trish also loved seeing her fur grand puppies, Rocky and Adrian.

She passed peacefully in her home surrounded by family under the care of her loving husband and Hospice on Saturday, May 15, 2021.

She is survived by her husband Leon; children, Todd (Nyaret) Anderson of Houston, TX, Val (Dan) Jenkins of Fargo, ND, Vickie (Kenney) Jacobson of Casselton, ND, and Scott (Kelly) Anderson of Fargo, ND; stepson, Dalton Johnson of Fargo, ND; siblings, Roger Buss, Ron (Deb) Buss, Danial Buss, Michael Buss, Anthony Buss, and Linda Ruikka, all in MN; seven grandchildren, Jerad Anderson, Michaela, Adam Jacobson, Robert Jones, Nicholas Jones, Alex Jacobson, Andy Jacobson, and 2 great grandchildren.
