Patricia Lou Evenson, 88, Fargo, ND, died Tuesday, July 18, 2017 in Essentia Hospital, Fargo.
Patricia was born on April 19, 1929, the daughter of George and Bertha (Rudel) Buechler. She grew up on the family farm near Breman, ND and graduated from Devils Lake High School in 1947.
Patricia attended business school in Fargo after high school and at that time was also the hostess at the Gardener Hotel where she made many lifetime friends. She then worked for the GAO in Chicago, Illinois before returning to Fargo to work for Wells Trucking as an accountant and dispatcher.
On June 5, 1950, Patricia married William E. Evenson in Fargo, ND.
She is survived by two sons, Thomas (Colleen Cahill), Woodbury, MN and Bradley (Cheryl), Fargo; seven grandchildren: Chad (Jessica) Evenson and their two children, Axel and Audrey, Minneapolis, MN; Jamie Evenson, Audubon, MN; Nathan Evenson, Minnesota; Paige (Vince) Stone, Flathead Lake, MT; Erin Cahill-Evenson, Minneapolis, MN; Joshua and Sherise Bjorem, Moorhead, MN; brother, Wesley Buechler, Kansas City, MO; and sister, Marlys Getty, Lakeville, MN.
Patricia’s husband, William Evenson, parents, George and Bertha Buechler, brother, Edwin and sisters, Esther Thomas and Lucille Engbrecht preceded her death.
The funeral is 10:30am Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial is in Ft. Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN, Friday, July 28, 2017, 12:35 PM - Staging Area 6.
