Patricia Jane Davis, 73, of Fargo, ND, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2020 surrounded by her son, sister, and niece.

Patricia was born to Kermit and Stella Ellefson on January 21, 1947. Pat grew up in Fargo, graduating from Central High School in 1965. She married Robin Davis and they had a son, Matthew. Pat worked at Sears for over 25 years in many departments at both the downtown and West Acres stores. After Sears, Pat worked at Noridian. She also filled in at the Fargodome handling the cashflow at the Subway kiosk. She saw many great and unique talents from Elton John to AC/DC to Lori Line to Monster Truck rallies.

Pat spent many years traveling to Matt’s hockey games and tournaments. She and the other hockey families formed strong friendships that created many crazy and memorable stories. Once Parkinson’s hit, Pat retired, leaving more time to support her grandchildren in their soccer and hockey games, which were highlights for her.

A lifelong resident of Fargo, Pat met and touched many lives. Her Beta Sigma Phi sorority sisters were always there for each other in all stages of life. No matter where she went, someone always knew Patty, or she knew them. Her quick wit and sarcastic sense of humor always made people laugh, even if the timing was inappropriate!

Pat is survived by her son, Matt (Becky) and their children, Tori, Betsy, Grace and Alex Davis, of Sabin, MN, her sister, Mary Beth Reynolds, Wahpeton, ND, her niece, Kathy (Brian) and their daughter Sophia Schott, Fargo, ND and numerous cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kermit and Stella.

Pat’s family would like to add a special thank you to the incredible Sanford Hospital staff who were so kind and efficient, especially the surgical team and the two wonderful ICU nurses who were there to hold Pat’s hand at the end and help send her on her way. No flowers or memorials are necessary. Instead feel free to make a donation to a charity of your choice in her name.

Funeral service will be held and live streamed here on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. with a visitation one hour prior at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo, ND. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo, ND.
