Paticia Bishop

Paticia Bishop, 88, of Fargo, ND, died Thursday, June 28, 2007, at Bethany Homes, Fargo, ND. Paticia Blanche Casey-Olsen was born March 28, 1919, in Morris, Minnesota. Pat married Lawrence B. Bishop, whom she had known all of her life. They were married during WW II, while Larry was on leave. Pat worked for the Social Security Administration for 30 years. She was well known and valued by her clients and her co-workers. When she retired, in 1984, she was honored by her co-workers for an entire week. Pat is preceded in death by her husband, Larry; and her parents, Edward Casey and Mildred and Harvard Olsen. Pat is survived by her children, Judie Lahren; Lynde (Jeff) Borchert; and Larry (Linda) Bishop, all of Fargo, ND; two grandsons, Scott and Steven Lahren; three great-grandchildren, Alexa, Chandler and Joshua Lahren; and her sister, Helen, Ohio. During Pat’s stay at Bethany since 2004, she learned to genuinely love “her kids” who cared for her. She was well liked throughout the whole building. Pat’s family is grateful for the love and caring that their mother received. Memorial Service: Monday, July 2, 2007, at 2 PM, at Mavis Whiting Chapel, Bethany Homes, Fargo, ND. Visitation: One hour prior to the service at Bethany. Inurnment: Riverside Mausoleum, Fargo, ND.
