Palmer Peterson, 90, of Fargo, ND, died Friday, February 4, 2011, at Sanford Health, Fargo. Palmer William Peterson was born December 2, 1920, son of Ole and Hilda (Kind) Peterson, in Walcott, North Dakota, where he attended school. He moved to Fargo in 1939. He married Thelma Hannestad in 1942. She died in 1967. He married Elsie Mickelson in 1977. Palmer was in the trucking business and had the Mayflower franchise in Fargo. After he sold the business, he worked for Fettes Moving and Storage. He also drove the senior grocery bus for a few years. He is survived by his wife, Elsie; son, Gary Peterson, Fargo, ND; daughter, Sandra Clinton, Las Vegas, NV; three step-children, Jim (Doreen) Mickelson, Audubon, MN; Sharon Wigren, Fargo, ND; and Melody (Kevin) Greve, Minnetonka, MN; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Palmer was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma; a son, Wayne; and his parents. Blessed be his memory.
