Palmer Gooselaw

Palmer Timothy Gooselaw, 82, of Fargo, died Saturday, December 24, at Sanford Palliative Care in Fargo. Palmer was born on July 28, 1929, in St. Vincent, MN, to Frank and Cecilia (Thiefault) Gooselaw. He married Sandra Kay Klose in June 10, 1972, in Moorhead, MN. Palmer worked for the Burlington Northern Railroad in various places throughout Minnesota and North Dakota. He and his wife settled in Fargo in 1989 and Palmer moved to Villa Maria in September of 2005, also in Fargo. Palmer is survived by his wife, Sandra; sons, John Gooselaw, Sauk Rapids, MN, and Charlie (Emily) Gooselaw, Fargo, ND; sisters, Marie Longfors, Moorhead, MN, and Louise (Maynard) Docken, Kennedy, MN; sister-in-law, Dianna Gooselaw, Fargo, ND; grandsons, Mathew and Riley Gooselaw; and granddaughter, Sheyenne Gooselaw. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Mike Gooselaw. Funeral: 2:00 PM Friday, December 30, 2011 at St. Marys Cathedral, Fargo. Visitation: 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo. Vigil Service: 7:00 PM at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo. Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo.
