Orville Julian Johnson

Orville Johnson, 93, of Fargo, ND, died Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at ManorCare in Fargo.

Orville Johnson was born near Geneseo, ND on November 1, 1921 to Einar and Josephine (Akre) Johnson. He attended rural school near Veblen, SD. On May 6, 1942 he married Lucille Dalberg in New Effington, SD. They were married 51 years. He farmed for several years then he drove truck for many years.

He is survived by his children, Orvin (Alice) Johnson, Lake Park, MN; Linda Johnson, Fargo, ND; Shirley (Larry) Gebhardt, Alexandria, MN; Sharon (Mike) Baumgardner, Fargo, ND; Dean Johnson, Moorhead, MN; and Dennis Johnson, Moorhead, MN; three sisters, Evean Holland, Lidgerwood, ND; Lois Tilbury, Golden, CO; and Emmy Willprecht, Arden Hills, MN.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille; daughter, Dianne; parents, Einar and Josephine; brothers, Evert; two sisters, Junice Zdroik and Avis Kuehn, and infant brother, LuVerne.
