Oliver "Moke" Semmens

Oliver “Moke” Semmens died November 13, 2014 at Manor Care in Fargo, ND.
He was born June 6, 1923 in Luverne, ND to Nathaniel and Kathryn (Skelton) Semmens. He graduated from high school and joined the Army Air Corps being stationed in India.
Oliver married Lois Guenther on October 6, 1947. During their life together they lived in Carrington, ND, and Alexandria, MN. They returned to Carrington when Lois retired in 1991, then to Fargo in 2007. Oliver worked as a plant manager and salesman for O & M Elevator and Hubbard Milling retiring in 1986. Oliver enjoyed golfing, dancing and playing cards.
He is survived by his daughter, Debra (David) Sillerud, Sauk Centre, MN; sons, Gordie Semmens, Fargo, ND, and Gary (Karen) Semmens, Grand Forks, ND; 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and brother, Kitchner Semmens, Arizona.
Oliver was preceded in death by his wife, Lois; parents; 6 brothers; and 3 sisters.
