Norma Lenora (Krogen) Wiltse, 96, Fargo, passed away Sunday, November 11, 2018 at Ecumen Evergreens of Moorhead under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley.
Norma was born on September 16, 1922 to William and Agnes (Carlson) Krogen in Lake Park, MN. She was raised in Fargo and graduated from Fargo Central High School in 1940. She worked at Manchester Biscuit Co. for five years.
Norma married Neil Wiltse on June 9, 1945 at Moorhead Trinity Lutheran Church. They moved to the Julius Borgen farm near Walcott in 1949 to help Neil's step-father with farming. Norma later worked at Elim Home in Fargo for 20 years as the administrative secretary. They moved to a house in Fargo in 1989 and to One Oak Place in 2011. After Neil passed away in 2013, Norma moved to Eventide Assisted Living in Moorhead and to Ecumen in Moorhead in 2017.
She is survived by a daughter, Karen (Charles) Moe; sons, Neil Jr. (Marlene) and Michael (Bonnie); grandchildren: Erica (Tom) Giorgi, Jonathan (Mary Carney) Moe, Jason (Andrea) Wiltse, Denise Wiltse-McWherter, Michelle (Josh) Ellis and Joshua (Stacey) Wiltse; ten great-grandchildren and brothers, William Jr. and Roy Krogen.
Norma is preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters: Pearl Fjeld, Francis Johnson, Elizabeth Fevig, and brothers: Charles, Willard and Robert.
