Nora Grant

Nora Rose Grant, 88, Fargo died November 2, 2010 at Elim Home, Fargo. Nora Grant was born on May 11, 1922 in Stanwood, WA to Kinsley and Rose (McCabe) Grant. She grew up in Everett, WA and graduated from high school in Minot, ND. Nora enlisted in the Navy during WWII and was stationed in Oakland, CA. After her discharge from the Navy, she entered nurses training at Bethesda Hospital in the Twin Cities. Nora worked as an RN in Seattle, WA before moving to Fargo in 1955. She worked at the VA Hospital for 18 years until her retirement. She played an active role in the lives of many of her nieces and nephews. Nora is survived by 13 nieces and nephews and their families. She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister and three brothers.
