Nancy Sauvageau, 66, of West Fargo, ND, died unexpectedly in her home on Friday, September 1, 2017.
Nancy Lou Kroshus was born September 30, 1950 to Robert and Marjorie (Smith) Kroshus on a farm between Perley and Borup, MN. She attended school and graduated from Borup High School, after which she graduated from Moorhead State College in Moorhead, MN with a degree in Early Childhood Education.
Nancy married Jerry Sauvageau on July 21, 1973 at Bethania Lutheran Church in rural Perley, MN.
Nancy worked for Arneson and Associates, WW Wallwork and Stieger Tractor Company, all in Fargo. She owned and operated Old Time Variety Store in Walhalla, ND; managed the Bakery Deli at Jerry’s Super Valu in Pine River, MN; and most recently was Owner/Manager of Usher’s House in Moorhead, MN.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Jerry; son, Nathan (Melissa) Sauvageau, Pine River, MN; grandchildren, Kolby Walters and Izabella Sauvageau; mother, Marjorie Kroshus; siblings, Sandra Arends, Steven (Mary) Kroshus, and Kent Kroshus; and twenty-five nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Kroshus.
