Morris Green

Morris E. Green, 94, of Fargo, ND, passed away peacefully, Saturday, December 18, 2010, at Sanford Health. Morris grew up and attended school in Enderlin, North Dakota. He enlisted in the Army June 3, 1940, and served in North Africa and Italy until March, 1945. He lived in California and Fargo where he worked for Red Owl Stores, until he retired. Morris will be dearly missed by his family and his many friends at Bethany (staff included) and by his other friends in Fargo, where he touched many lives over 50 years. Morris is survived by ten nieces and one nephew and numerous great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Amanda and Knute; his twin brother, Merrill; brothers, Marvie, Ernest, Freeman, Kenneth; and sisters, Stella, Doris and Gladys. Memorial Service: Thursday, December 30, 2010, at 1:00 P.M., at Mavis Whiting Chapel, Bethany Retirement Living, Fargo, ND. Inurnment: Friday, May 13, 2011 (Morris’ birthday) at Riverside Cemetery, Fargo, ND.
