Misty Kay Lee Good, 47, entered eternal rest on Monday, March 20, 2023 at Sanford Medical Center. She was born at Harvey ND on June 24, 1975.
Misty’s working career included many different types of jobs, but the profession she loved the most was taking care of individuals with physical disabilities. She had a caring and empathetic personality which made her perfectly suited for this profession.
Misty loved working on crafts, going on coffee dates with her mother-in-law, attending the Red River Market and downtown Fargo Street Fair. She was an avid reader but she also liked her audible books. She had a very soft spot in her heart for strays both four and two legged. Her homemade lasagna and chili were the best. She always made enough to share with the family. Christmas was definitely her favorite time of year. She was looking for gifts to give all year long. When December arrived she started baking fancy cookies and making candy which she then wrapped in decorative packaging and gave as gifts.
On September 22, 2016 Misty married the love of her life, Christopher Good, the man who would stand by her side through thick and thin and in sickness and health. To this union Chris brought to Misty a large extended family who dearly loved her.
Misty, the most loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, daughter-in-law is survived by her husband Chris, daughter Saphire, sister Sunny (Eric) Brandt, mother-in-law Mary Ann Hansen, sister-in-law Angie Hovde (Tom Farney), brothers-in-law Bryan Good (Cindy Onsum), Bradley (Sandie) Good, nieces DeSeandra Brandt, Krystal Lunn (Adam Cole), Morgan Good, Kayla Good, Kimberly Good, nephews Jason Brandt, Nick Hinschberger, Jonathan Good, Jaycob (Phoebe) Good, Zachary Onsum, Kyle Good, great-niece Westlynn Cole, great-nephew Waylon Good, honorary son Marley Rodgers, dear friends Pat and Donna Braun, Dave Muir and many, many friends. Misty’s passing has left a gap in the hearts of all her loved ones that will never be filled.
Misty’s family would like to thank Sanford Medical Center for the care she received since she was hospitalized on January 31st. They would especially like to acknowledge all the CNAs in ICU and the Advanced Comprehensive Stroke Center who sat at her bedside 24 hours a day.
Celebration of Life will be held Monday March 27, 2023, 11:00 AM in the chapel at Hope Lutheran Church, South Campus, 3636 25th St S, Fargo. Misty's service will be live-streamed on her obituary page on the funeral home website.
