Milo W. Craik, 86, of Fargo, ND, died Friday, November 21, 2014 at his home, under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley.
Milo Wayne Craik was born May 2, 1928 in Grand Forks, ND to James and Emily (Hoisveen) Craik. He was baptized in Grand Forks. His family moved to Fargo, where he attended elementary and high schools. He was confirmed at Pontoppidan Lutheran Church in Fargo. Milo graduated from Fargo Central High School in 1946 and attended NDSU for one year.
Milo married Ruby M. Stende on August 12, 1949 in Ulen, MN.
He was employed by the Fargo Post Office for one year, after which he began his “35 year, 9 month, 20 day” career with Northwestern Bell Telephone company then AT&T. Milo enjoyed time he could spend woodworking and fishing.
Milo is survived by his wife of 65 years, Ruby; four children, Emily (Eldon) Larson, Blaine, MN; Susan (David) Stark, Beaver Creek, OR; Jane (Jim) Stoutland, Fargo, ND; Ellen (Eric) Stark, Wolverton, MN; Jay Aalgaard, Fargo, ND; six grandchildren, Molly Salvi; Kaylan Wilson; Danielle Patterson; Noah Stoutland; Lauren Stoutland; Carly Stark; Lizzy Stoutland; five great-grandsons; and one great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Leonard Craik; and daughter, Sydney Salvi.
