Michael Lelm, 62, of Fort Mohave, AZ, died Saturday, September 27, 2014 in Idaho Falls, ID.
Michael Lee Lelm was born March 9, 1952 to Reuben and Emily (Pokorny) Lelm in Breckenridge, MN. He grew up in rural Wyndmere, graduating from Wyndmere High School in 1971. He married Betty Gyldenvand on April 6, 1974 and they were married for 29 years. They settled in Bismarck, ND, where they raised their family from 1974-1997.
Michael worked for many years in manufacturing at Melroe in Gwinner/Bismarck and Case IH in Fargo. He loved his job, and told many stories about lessons that he learned over the years.
Michael moved to Fargo, where he lived until early 2012 when he retired and followed his dream to live in a warmer climate in Fort Mohave, AZ. He enjoyed meeting new people and loved to visit with family, friends, and especially his grandchildren. He had the gift of gab and spent many hours making plans for the future. He always had a new project or dream that he was working on.
Michael is survived by his son, Chris (Naomi) Lelm, Grand Forks, ND; daughter, Sarah (Jamie) Lloyd, Fargo, ND; brothers, Ronald (Judi) Lelm, Lidgerwood, ND; Richard Lelm, Lidgerwood, ND; and grandchildren, Grant and Rylie Lelm.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and daughter, Lindsey.
