Michael Keith Jahnke

Michael Keith Jahnke, 52, of Fargo, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2016.

Michael was born on April 5, 1964 in Dickinson, ND to Emery and Ann Jahnke. He has lived in Fargo since 1974, graduating from Fargo North High School in 1983. It was at Fargo North that Mike met the love of his life and best friend, Lisa Trieglaff. They were married in 1987.

Mike and Lisa were blessed with two beautiful daughters, Ashlyn and Amanda. As a family they enjoyed traveling, snowmobiling, watching movies and all the various activities of the girls growing up. Sadly, Lisa passed away from cancer June 16, 2014. Michael spent his working life as a Dental Lab Technician in Fargo and was currently working with his colleagues and friends at Evergreen Dental. Michael enjoyed fishing, cooking, watching football and Fighting Sioux hockey.

Michael was preceded in death by his wife Lisa, brother, Paul, and nephew, Joshua Dahmus.

Michael will be deeply missed by his parents Emery and Ann Jahnke, Detroit Lakes, MN; daughters, Ashlyn (Joe) Bontje and Amanda, both Fargo ND; sisters, Janel (Rod) Swenson, Fargo, ND; Carol (Dan) Labernik, Fargo, ND; Jane (Jeff) Gauthier, Minneapolis, MN; Jody (Steve) Hsu, Bismarck, ND; parents-in-law, Robert and Barbara Trieglaff, Fargo, ND; sister-in-law, Kara (Mike) Scheer, Fargo, ND; friend, Linda Schwanke, Fargo, ND; and 14 nieces and nephews.
