Michael Hanson

Michael LeRoy Hanson, 25, died Friday, November 7, 2008 in Fargo, ND. Michael was born on March 7, 1983 to Larry and Mary (Bickford) Hanson in Fargo. He attended Richland #44 School and graduated in 2001. Michael was an avid lover of the outdoors. Among his many interests, he loved skateboarding, wakeboarding, snowboarding, hunting, fishing and four wheeling. One of Michael’s favorite things to do was spend time with his friends and family. He had a special spot in his heart for his niece and nephew who will miss him so very much. Michael had a terrific sense of humor and was blessed with the ability to make people laugh and smile. He was kind to all those he knew and had a very generous and caring personality. Michael is survived by his parents Larry and Mary Hanson, Abercrombie, ND; his grandmother, Betty Hanson, Nevis, MN; his grandfather, LeRoy Bickford, Anamosa, IA; his sister Kelly (Brian) Duchscherer, West Fargo, ND; his niece and nephew, Abigail and Trenton Duchscherer, West Fargo, ND and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his infant sister; his grandmother, May Bickford, and grandfather, Vernon Hanson. Funeral Service: Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at 10:00 AM Trinity Lutheran Church, Moorhead, MN. Visitation: Monday, November 10, 2008 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo, ND. Followed by a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM. Burial: Rest Haven Cemetery, Nevis, Minnesota
