Michael Andersen

Michael Andersen, 56, of West Fargo, ND, died unexpectedly Tuesday, September 25, 2007, in Fargo. Michael Kenneth Andersen was born July 16, 1951, in Moorhead, Minnesota, son of Kenneth Andersen and Beverly (Nolan) Walden. Michael graduated from high school in Moorhead. He joined the U.S. Army and served in Germany, during the Vietnam War. Michael married Julie Dullea and worked with her father on the farm for a number of years. He began truck driving, which was his profession for over 30 years. Michael married Kathy Backen in January 1987, in West Fargo. He enjoyed fishing at the lake and tinkering with his many projects. Michael is survived by his wife, Kathy, West Fargo, ND; his three sons, Jesse Andersen, Fargo, ND; Danny Andersen, Minneapolis, MN; Andrew Andersen, West Fargo, ND; and step-son, Jon Backen, Fargo, ND; his mother, Beverly Walden, Moorhead, MN; and a sister, Klaudia Stalenger, San Diego, CA. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth. Memorial Service: Friday, September 28, 2007, at 11 AM, at Faith Lutheran Church, West Fargo, ND. Visitation: One hour prior to service.
