Maxine Yates

Maxine “Max” Yates 86, of Fargo, died Saturday, March 10, 2007 at MeritCare Hospital, Fargo. Maxine “Max” Yates was born August 9, 1920 in Highland, Kansas to Roy and Glessner (Potter) Randall. She grew up and graduated from High School in Highland, Kansas. Max graduated from Business College in St. Joseph, MO. She married Robert Yates on May 16, 1942 at Olathe, Kansas. They lived in Kansas City, MO where she worked at Hallmark. Max also worked at Avon in Los Angeles, CA. After WWII they lived in Kansas City before moving to Fargo in 1986. Max is survived by her husband; daughter Paula Thomas, Fargo; sister Pauline Minier, Highland, Kansas; two grandchildren, Kevin and Kathleen. She was preceded in death by her parents and son-in-law Mack Thomas. Memorial Service: Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo.
