Matilda "Tillie" Pauline Peters

Matilda Peters, 93, of Breckenridge, MN, formerly of Fargo, ND, died Monday, November 24, 2014 at St. Francis Healthcare in Breckenridge.

Matilda “Tillie” Pauline Seefeldt was born February 27, 1921 to Paul and Sena (Upkes) Seefeldt in White Rock, SD. She graduated from Fairmount High School in Fairmount, ND.

Tillie married the love of her life, Raymond C. Peters on November 19, 1940 in George, Iowa. They farmed near Fairmount and Raymond later managed the LaMars Elevator. They later moved to Fargo where Tillie worked at the Dakota Clinic and was later the office manager for Asp Realty until she retired. In 2014 she moved to Twin Town Villa in Breckenridge, MN, where she lived until her passing.

Tillie is survived by her daughter, LaRae (David) Gripentrog, Wahpeton, ND; three sisters-in-law, Tressa, Lucille, and Beverly; three grandchildren, Vicki (Judy) Cook, Santa Rosa, CA; David (Colleen) Gripentrog II, Cedar Rapids, IA; and Allan (Wendy Hehn) Gripentrog, Breckenridge, MN; great-grandchildren, Spencer, Olivia, and Lily Lee; son-in-law, Martin Mudrow; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Carol J. Mudrow; parents; and sisters, Ella Boldt, Esther Maple, Margaret Hart, and Helen Gronau.
