Mary Jeannette Abrahamson

Mary Jeannette Abrahamson, 99, of Bismarck, ND, died Sunday, June 22, 2008, at Bethany Homes, Fargo, ND. Mary Jeannette Penny was born December 20, 1908, at Rolla, North Dakota, to James H. and Jeannette (McDougal) Penny. She grew up and graduated from high school in Rolla. Jeannette married Paul E. R. Abrahamson, November 20, 1936, in Devils Lake, North Dakota. They lived in Langdon, Devils Lake and Bismarck, North Dakota. She is survived by her son, Paul R. (Connie) Abrahamson, DDS, Fargo, ND; and brother, W. Douglas Penny, DDS, Hood River, OR; two grand-daughters, Donna (Tom) Idstrom, St. Paul, MN; and Susan (Roger) Meyer, Minneapolis, MN; four great-grandsons, Mark and Paul Idstrom; Colin and Nate Meyer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul E.R. Abrahamson, in 1972. Memorial Service: Thursday, June 26, 2008, at Noon, at First Presbyterian Church, Bismarck, ND.
