Mary Catherine Crosby

Mary Crosby, 97, of Fargo, ND, formerly of Valley City, ND, died on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Eventide Fargo.
Mary Catherine Clemens was born on June 21, 1925 in Jamestown, ND to Nicholas and Elizabeth (Seelhammer) Clemens. She attended schools at Uxbridge Consolidated, St. Catherine's, and business college in Fargo.
On June 9, 1951, Mary married Nathan Crosby and together they raised their 6 children in Valley City. In retirement they enjoyed their winters in Florida and had a summer lake home in Minnesota.
After Nate passed away in 2017, Mary resided at Eventide Assisted Living until May of this year.
Mary is survived by her six children, John Crosby, Tucson, AZ; Paul (Dagmar) Crosby, St. George, UT; Mary Jane (Ron) Pacioni, Phoenix, AZ; Patty (Doug) Zahn, Forbes, ND; Kay (Paul) Johnson, Onalaska, WI; Lucy (Keith) Wiedrich, Fargo, ND; five granddaughters; one grandson; and two great-granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nathan; brothers, Jack and Jim Clemens; and sister, Kathleen Dunn.
A private family gathering will be held at St. Catherine Cemetery in Valley City, ND.
Memorials are preferred to the Red River Zoo, Valley City State University, or Barnes County Historical Society.
