Mary Ann Lewis, 83, died on Sunday, June 30, 2019, at Banner Care Hospital in Mesa, Arizona. She was born December 22, 1935, in Charles City, Iowa. She later moved with her family to Galesburg, North Dakota where she attended Greenfield School and Galesburg High School. She married Donald F. Stibbe in 1954.
Mary Ann lived on a farm near Hunter, North Dakota. In 1985, she graduated from North Dakota State University with an Associate Degree in nursing. She completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree in 1988 at Moorhead State University. She became a registered nurse, and worked at Dakota Hospital Intensive Care Nursery for ten years. Later, she worked as a home health care nurse.
She moved to Alexandria, Minnesota in 1996, and married Adam Lewis in 1998. Mary Ann moved to Mesa, Arizona in 2007.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Fred Richtsmeier and Pearl Richtsmeier Olson; step-father, Arnold Olson; brother, Gene Richtsmeier; sister-in-law, Margaret Hendrickson; her first husband, Donald F. Stibbe, and second husband, Adam Lewis.
She is survived by her children: Gary Stibbe; LeAnn (Dave) Haven, East Wenachee, WA; Yvonne (Tom) Halstenson, Fargo, ND; and Darla (Lloyd) Wallace, Fort Worth, TX; grandchildren: Erica (Jesse) Johnson, West Fargo, ND; Jon (Alison) Halstenson, Horace, ND; Micah Haven, Tacoma, WA; and Jenna (Nathan) Cummings, Orondo, WA; four great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
