Mary Louise Larson was born in Lisbon, ND on July 22, 1913. She was the daughter of Lassa and Mary Larson. She graduated from Fargo Central High School in 1931. She went to Valley City Teachers College and taught school in a rural area near Lisbon, ND. Mary married Clinton A. Anderson on June 12, 1937 at Elim Lutheran Church in Fargo, ND. Mary worked many years for Frederick’s Floral in Fargo, retiring in 1989.
Mary was very active in the ritual team for the Eagles Auxiliary of Fargo. She attended many national conventions in the United States and Canada. She was a drummer for the ritual team.
She loved spending time at her lake home and enjoyed her many friends at Lake Maud and in Fargo.
Mary is survived by her two sons, Dennis (Sandy) Anderson, Fargo; Richard (Pearl) Anderson, Fargo; four grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton A. Anderson; her parents, Lassa and Mary Larson; one brother and seven sisters.
