Mary Ackely

Mary Catherine “Kay” Ackley, formerly of Fargo passed away on Tuesday October 12th at the University of Minnesota Fairview Hospital in Minneapolis Minnesota. Mary is survived by her four sons and four daughters in law Mike and Amy Fink, Josh and Valerie Fink, Adam and Jessica Fink, and Cole and Erin Fink. Mary is also survived by her five grandchildren Tristan Fink, Hailey Fink, Joshua Fink, Justin Fink, and Hayden Fink as well as her two brothers Bill Ackley and Mike Ackley. Mary was preceded in death by her parents Myrle “Mick” Ackley and Margaret Brunette. Mary was passionate about her sons and her grandchildren. She was successful in starting her own hair salon as well as a restaurant while raising four boys in Sidney Montana. She played a huge role in the success of the Richland County Youth Hockey program where she organized many charity events and was active on the hockey board. She loved working with flowers and she would always do whatever she could to help someone out. Memorial Service: Friday, October 15, 2:00 PM at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral, Fargo, ND.
