Marvin Selberg, 88, of Fargo, ND, died Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at Eventide in Fargo.
Marvin Laverne Selberg entered this world on October 6, 1931 in Delamere, ND, born to Edwin and Olga (Hillesland) Selberg. His parents died when Marvin was a young boy and he then made his home with his uncle and aunt, Bill and Ruth Selberg in West Fargo, ND.
Marvin graduated from Oak Grove High School in 1950. He married Grace Geiszler and together they had three children. They divorced in 1975.
Marvin was employed by Harvest States as a fertilizer chemical salesman and retired after 32 years of service. He loved to talk. After retiring he worked part-time at Fleet Farm giving him opportunity to talk to many different people. He enjoyed spending time on the original Selberg homestead and tinkering in his shed. His latest project was creating a smoker for himself.
Marvin is survived by his children, Sharon Geiszler, Carmichael, CA; Scott (Marcia) Selberg, Moorhead, MN; Steve (Cathy) Selberg, Fargo, ND; grandchildren, Simon, Avery, Malery, Cole and Benjamin.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Fred and Ernest.
