Marvel Brodsho

Marvel Brodsho, 76, Fargo, died Saturday, October 18, 2008 at Meritcare Palliative Care, Fargo, after a long battle with cancer. Marvel Heiden was born February 11, 1932 in Bismarck, ND to Herman and Clara (Nelson) Heiden. She lived on the family farm north of Tappen, ND until age 8. The family moved to a farm south of West Fargo. She graduated from West Fargo High School in 1949. Marvel worked for a short time at West Fargo State Bank. She married Jerome Brodsho on October 16, 1952. They farmed near Harwood, ND, where they raised their family. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by her children, Bruce Brodsho and Brenda (Les) Staples, both of Harwood, ND; two brothers, Oris (Marcella) Heiden and Vernon (LaVerne) Heiden, both of West Fargo, ND; sister, Jan Peterson-Gross, Mill Creek, WA; and five grandchildren, Kelsey, Brady, David, Mark and Sophie. She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents. Funeral Service: 2pm Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo, ND. Visitation: One hour prior to the service. Burial: Maple Sheyenne Cemetery, Harwood, ND.
