Marva Kruft passed away peacefully on December 3, 2023, at the age of 79.
She was born in April 1944 in Salina, Kansas.
She had two brothers (David and Steven) and a sister (Sarah).
She graduated in 1963 from Salina High School.
In 1962, Marva met Jim Kruft while working at The Vogue Theater in Salina.
They married in 1963 and went on to have three children, Kevin, Kim, & Lori.
They lived in Park Rapids, MN for a while, then moved to Fargo, ND, where she spent most of her life.
Marva studied Nursing at NDSU. Marva sold Avon for 35 years in Fargo.
She got her Amateur Radio Operator "HAM" license in 1999 (KC0HIG). She was an active member of the Red River Radio Amateurs, where she was a past president. Marva was also very proud of her involvement in the Western Minnesota Steam Threshers Reunion (WMSTR) in Rollag, MN.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim; their son, Kevin; her parents; and brothers, David and Steven.
She is survived by daughters, Kim (Shane) Pilon, Lori; granddaughter, Steph (Jeff) Hanson; great-granddaughter, Nessa; her sister, Sarah Starling; nieces, nephews, and many beloved cousins.
Marva was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and her family meant everything to her, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
