Mark William Sherouse 57, of Fargo passed away unexpectedly in his home December 8, 2015.
Born November 10, 1958 in Newport News, Virginia, he was a son to Don and Pat Sherouse. He was a graduate of Warwick High School.
Mark was a lifelong musician. After high school and performing with groups in his hometown, he signed with an agency taking his percussion talents on the road touring with groups performing in over 26 states and Canada. In addition to working as a studio session drummer and appearing on radio concerts and talk shows, he also opened for many major label recording artists. He would later settle in Fargo beginning a career as an electrician. Following in the footsteps of his grandfather, in 1995 he became duly licensed as a Master Electrician and joined Modern Electric of F-M Inc. as a partner. He performed as an estimator, project manager and co-owner. In June 2010 he purchased the company and became the sole owner. He was a member of the IBEW local 1426 and a Chapter Member of NECA.
In addition to his love for family, music and dedication to his company, he enjoyed vacations sightseeing the country, motorcycle road trips and the joy of performing alongside follow musicians and sharing laughter with friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Tracy Sherouse (Chruszch) and is survived by his brother Don Sherouse, Jr. of Hampton, VA, Niece Debra Sherouse Lewis of Fayetteville, NC, and cousins, Bobbi Rawlings and Beckie Walizer of Williamsburg VA.
A memorial service will be held at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home Monday December 14, 2015 at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at Hanson-Runsvold. A reception will also be held immediately following the service.
Mark will be laid to rest in the family plot located at Peninsula Memorial Park in his hometown of Newport News VA.
