Marjorie M. Sholy, 93, of Fargo, ND, died Monday, November 27, 2017 in Bethany on University, Fargo, ND.
Marjorie Mae Jenson was born October 31, 1924, in Fargo, North Dakota, daughter of George W. and Berdie K. (Gunderson) Jenson. She graduated from Fargo Central High School in 1942.
Marjorie married George Irwin Sholy June 10, 1944, in Fargo, North Dakota. He died December 1, 1970, at the age of 49. She then moved to Fargo where she completed her education. She graduated from North Dakota State University in 1972. She worked as a Speech Pathologist with the Fargo Schools System retiring in 1992.
Marge loved being with family and especially attending grandchildren’s activities. She also enjoyed spending time at Lake Pelican.
Marge was a long time member of First Lutheran Church.
She is survived by three sons, Steven (Peggy) Sholy, Pahrump, NV, David (Olga) Sholy, Fargo, ND, and George (Kim) Sholy, Fargo, ND; daughter, Kay (David) Currier, Fargo, ND; nine grandchildren: Sara, William (Alison) and Kate Sholy; Nicholas Sholy; Joseph (Rebecca) and John Currier, Amy (Joshua) Mickelson; Krista and Daniel (Jenta) Sholy; six great-children: Emmett Sholy, Caroline Currier, Henry and Roy Mickelson, Daxton and Blakely Sholy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, George and Lloyd; sister, Dorothy; and husband, George.
