Marjorie E. Lemier (Koivisto)

March 3, 1930 — January 17, 2013

Marjorie LeMier, 82, of Fargo, ND, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2013 surrounded by her family at Sanford Health, Fargo.

Marjorie Eleanor was born March 3, 1930 in Duluth, MN to Lauri and Tynne Koivisto. She went to Lowell Elementary Grade School and graduated from Central High School - Duluth.
She met and married Paul LeMier in Duluth on August 28, 1948. Together they had 5 children: Anita (Gerlitz), Lauri LeMier, Lynn (Anderson), Iris (Bakke), and Eileen (Moseng). Paul was transferred to Fargo, ND in 1960 with Greyhound Bus Lines. Marjorie and their children later moved to join Paul in 1961.

Once their children had all graduated, she worked for S & L Department Store and Sgutt's Moody as a seamstress, later to work from home as a private seamstress.

After retiring, Marjorie enjoyed her gardening and spending time with their 9 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Marjorie and Paul celebrated 64 years happily married.

Marjorie is preceded in death by her parents, Lauri and Tynne Koivisto, and her sister, Marilyn (Dewey).
