Marion June Paulson, 84, of Fargo, ND passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at the Sanford Hospice House.
Marion June Leach entered this world on March 15, 1936 in Lisbon, ND, born to Perry and Gertrude (Jorgenson) Leach. She grew up in Lisbon and graduated from Lisbon High School. Marion married Jesse Paulson in 1954 and moved to Fargo, where they raised their two children, Michael and Mark.
Marion worked at MeritCare (St. Lukes) Hospital as a switchboard operator for 17 years. She enjoyed socializing with her coworkers and hospital visitors.
Her hobbies included enjoying the lakes area and fishing, sewing, gardening, and cooking. Marion will always be remembered for her love of flowers and butterflies. Even in her later years, she still managed to keep in close touch with family and friends through regular phone calls and texting, impressing them all with her iPhone skills.
Marion is survived by her husband of 66 years, Jesse Paulson; son, Mike (Barb) Paulson, Fargo, ND; grandchildren, Ryan Paulson and Jessica (Noah) Dunlap; great-grandchildren, Jacqlyn Paulson and Iris Dunlap; sister, Donna Mae Gamache; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Mark Paulson; brother, Gary Leach; and sister, Eileen Lillis.
Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens in Fargo, ND.
