Marilyn Janell (Bahe) Harris was born October 25, 1932 in Georgeville, MN to Edward and Alvina (Helmstetter) Bahe. She attended area schools and graduated from Moorhead High, Moorhead, MN. She married Bruce Harris in Perley, MN in 1950.
Marilyn was a homemaker and thoroughly enjoyed being a mother and grandmother. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles, gardening and embroidery.
Marilyn died at Elim Care Center in Fargo, ND on September 30, 2015. She is survived by her children, Joan (Ernie) Scramuzza, Simpsonville, SC; Terri (Stan) Anderson, Wall, SD; Peggy (Jim) Jensen, Marysville, WA; and Russell (Roxanne) Harris, Billings, MT; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and sister, Adlyne Ohnstad, Moorhead, MN, Lois Horpedahl and Gwen Dunleavy, both of Spokane, WA.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce; her parents; sisters, Armorel Arneson and Sheryl Mahaffey and brother, Alvin Bahe.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery or First Congregational UCC, Fargo.
