Margaret M. Urich of Fargo, ND, passed away Monday, August 15, 2022, surrounded by her family under the care of hospice at the age of 79.

Margaret Mary Wallace was born to William and Francis (Riewer) Wallace on April 11, 1943, and grew up on a farm near Frazee, MN.

After high school, she moved to Moorhead, MN, and met her future husband while working as a nurse's aide at St. Ansgar Hospital. After marriage, they moved to Fargo and raised a family.

Over the years, Margaret was active in St Mary's Church, acting as a eucharistic minister for shut-ins for a time.

Throughout her life, she held many jobs and made many wonderful friends everywhere she went. She retired from a food service job at the Fargo High Rise in 2019. She enjoyed working there as she became friends with many residents and staff.

In her free time, she enjoyed baking, spending time at the lake, or being at home with her family and kitties. She also enjoyed spending Thursdays at a coffee clutch with her sisters.

She is survived by her brother Richard; three sisters, Cecelia (Leverson), Donna (Bjerke), and Silvia (Dufner), along with her two children, Diane and Earl.

She was loved by many and will be missed by many more.
