Margaret Jeannette Pacholke Soberg

Margaret Jeannette Pacholke Soberg, 68, of Casselton, ND, passed away Monday, July 29, 2019 at her home under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley.
Margaret Jeannette Pacholke was born February 19, 1951 in Fargo, ND to Victor Sr. and Marie “Wanda” Pacholke. She was raised on the family farm in rural Gardner, ND and attended school in Argusville, ND. Margaret received bookkeeping certification from Suburban Hennepin
County Area Vocational Technical Schools in 1977 and later completed a real estate education course in Denver, CO. Margaret married Alan Soberg in 1986. Together they had one child. They divorced in 1988.
Margaret spent many years doing bookkeeping and various outdoor work at Pacholke Tree Farm, owned by her father. She later worked for several business owners over the years at the Casselton Airport.
Margaret loved spending time outdoors exploring the many places she lived including Minneapolis, MN; Denver, CO; and Mesa, AZ ultimately deciding to make her home in Casselton, ND.
Margaret enjoyed being outdoors, mowing, gardening, tree trimming and visiting her brother Tom in the country to listen to the birds and mow some more. She also liked visiting with friends and family, kept a great sense of humor and enjoyed a good laugh. Most of all, she
loved spending time with her three granddaughters and especially cherished the special bond she had with her eldest granddaughter Bria.
Margaret is survived by her daughter Sally Soberg, Casselton, ND; one sister, Joanne (Ted Hlebechuck)Olson, Norcross, MN; three brothers, Victor Pacholke Jr. “Sonny”, Apache Junction, AZ, Tim Pacholke(Barb), Gardner, ND, Tom Pacholke, Argusville, ND; three granddaughters, Bria, Halle, and Haven all Casselton, ND; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and nephew Jeremy Olson.
A funeral will be held on Monday, August 5, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo, North Dakota, with visitation one hour prior to service. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens Fargo, ND.
