Margaret R. Gall, 84, of Fargo passed away on Sunday February 5, 2012 at Sanford Medical Center, in Fargo, ND. Margaret Rozella Skamfer was born on April 29, 1927 at Abercrombie, ND to Emil and Olga (Nypen) Skamfer. She graduated from Abercrombie High School in 1944 and completed stenographer training at Fargo Business College. She went to work at the Fargo Veterans Hospital as a medical stenographer. After taking time off to raise her two children, she later went to work at Merit Care as a medical steno for 25 years. Margaret was united in marriage to Norman Gall on June 7, 1949 in Abercrombie, ND. Margaret and Norm spent the majority of their married lives in Fargo. Margaret was a member of First Lutheran Church for 38 years and was active in the women's organizations. She loved to cook and bake. Other activities included bowling, golf, and playing cards with her many friends. Her greatest pride was her family and home. Margaret will be greatly missed by her husband of 62 years, Norman; her daughter, Dianne (Dan) Dybwad, Grand Forks, ND; granddaughter, Jennifer Gall, Plymouth, MN; grandson, Aaron Nash, Fargo. She is also survived by a brother, Robert (Lois) Skamfer, Lima, OH and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Douglas Gall and daughter-in-law Kathleen (Thieman) Gall, sister Sylpha Hovland, and brothers, LeRoy Skamfer and Harold Skamfer. Funeral Services will be at 11 am on Friday, February 10, 2012 at First Lutheran Church in Fargo. Visitation will be held from 5-7pm on Thursday at Hanson Runsvold Funeral Home in Fargo and one hour before the services in the church. Interment at Riverside Cemetery, Fargo.
