Lynn Kautz

Lynn Kautz, 52, of Fargo, ND, died at her home on Wednesday, February, 25, 2009. Lynn Rishel was born July 14, 1956, to Edward and Romayne (Costello) Rishel in Moorhead, Minnesota. She attended school in Dilworth, MN and graduated from high school in 1974. She went onto North Dakota State School of Science in Wahpeton, ND, graduating with an LPN degree in 1976. Lynn worked as a nurse in long term care for 33 years. She married Vincent Kautz on January 8, 1977 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Dilworth, MN. They made their home in Kent, MN and later moved to Breckenridge, MN. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She loved cooking, sewing, and quilting. Lynn is survived by one son, John Kautz, Moorhead, MN; three daughters, Sarah, Breckenridge, MN; Catherine, Wahpeton, ND; and Elizabeth Kautz, Breckenridge, MN; parents Edward and Romayne Rishel, Dilworth, MN; three sisters, Mary (Butch) Ihland, Kent, MN; Melissa (Chad) Koel, Pillager, MN; Stephanie (Larry) Gertz, Big Fork, MT; and one brother, Ronald (Gerri) Rishel, Lakeville, MN; two grandchildren, Emily Merriman and Thomas Kautz, and one on the way. Memorial Mass: Monday, March 2, 2009 at 10:00 AM at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Dilworth, MN. Visitation: Sunday, March 1, 2009 from 5-7 PM at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo, ND. Vigil Service: Sunday, March 1, 2009 at 7 PM at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo, ND. Inurnment: St. Josephs Cemetery, Moorhead, MN at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to donor’s choice.
