Lorraine Zehren, 94, of Fargo, ND, passed away on February 23, 2023, in Fargo, ND. She spent her last days surrounded by her loving family.
Lorraine Beverly Lehman was born July 24, 1928, at the family farm near Argusville, ND. Her parents were Louis P. Lehman and Ella (Pearson) Lehman. She attended country school District 63, School 1, near her home, and graduated from Amenia High School, Amenia, ND. In 1949 she married Robert L. Zehren in Moorhead, MN, and they had four children, making their home at 1509 N. 3rd St in Fargo, ND.
Mom loved spending time at her lake cabin on Strawberry Lake, Ogema, MN. She took great pleasure in cooking and baking all the family favorites. She enjoyed growing beautiful flowers, feeding the birds, and relaxing on the deck with her kids.
Mom is preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Zehren, her parents, her sister, Frances Lehman, her brother, Darrell Lehman, and her great-grandson, Braxton.
Lorraine is survived by her children, Ron (Carolyn) Zehren, Jerry (Gail) Zehren, all of Fargo, ND, Connie (John) Seifert, Stillwater, MN, and Terri (Dave) Obermiller, also of Fargo, ND. Lorraine’s life centered around her grandchildren, Sam Johnson (Andrea), Brandon, SD, Brian (Autumn) Zehren, Maple Grove, MN, Andy (Kellie) Zehren, Gallatin Gateway, MT, Lisa (Adam) Hilzendager, Horace, ND, Dan Zehren, Fargo, ND, Susan (Cory) Althoff, Fargo, ND, Joey Seifert, Belgrade, MT, Maria Obermiller, Fargo, ND, Scott Seifert, Belgrade, MT and great-grandchildren, Jayden, Isaac, Ian, Morgan, Zoe, Zayne, Ziah, Evan, Witten, Oliver, Lillian, Abigail, and Luna.
No service is planned at this time. We will celebrate her life this summer at Strawberry Lake. Memorials can be sent to the charity of your choice in her honor.
She is and always will be the best grandma. We are all incredibly grateful for her unconditional love.
