Lorraine J. Nelson

Lorraine J. Nelson, 86, of Fargo, died Monday, March 12, 2018 in Bethany on University.

Lorraine Joyce Nelson was born November 29, 1931 to Jens and Clara (Swanson) Nelson in Fargo.

She worked for Pioneer Mutual Life Insurance Company for 35 years and was an Avon rep for many years.

She loved to play piano, ice skate, golf and bowling. She was involved in the American Legion Auxiliary and was past President.

Lorraine’s mother was confirmed at Pontoppidan in 1905. Lorraine was a lifelong member of Pontopddian.

She is survived by her nephews, David (Grace) Nelson, IA, Dale Nelson, NV, and Donald Nelson, NV; many friends and her church family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Clarence & Orville Nelson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Pontoppidan Lutheran Church.
