Lois Anna Minch, age 102, passed away on March 9, 2025 in her Fargo home. She was born November 15, 1922 in St. Paul, MN to Anna and Anton Thompson of Cogswell, ND. She attended country school in Harlem, ND and graduated from Stirum High School in 1940 and attended NDSU and Interstate Business College. She worked in the offices of Branick Mfg. Co., Manchester Biscuit Co. and the IRS retiring to raise three children, Roger of Fargo, Ruth of Santa Fe, New Mexico and Robert of Boise, ID. Lois was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Dr. Roger Thompson of Seattle, and husband Adrian (Bob). In 1950 Lois married Adrian who died in 2006. They built a cabin on Cotton Lake in the early 1950s where Lois enjoyed gardening, many flowers, fishing and reading. Lois belonged to the Mecca Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star, and many wildlife groups. She was an avid pheasant hunter.
A private interment will occur at a later date at Riverside Cemetery, Fargo, ND.
