Linda Olson, 70, of Fargo, ND, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2024 at her home, under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley.

Linda Kay Kosfeld was born on Nov. 23, 1953 to August and Margaret (Patrick) Kosfeld in Worthington, MN. At the age of 7, the family moved to Spring Valley, MN, where Linda later graduated from high school in 1971. She continued her education at Concordia College in Moorhead, MN and graduated in 1975.

Linda married Jack Olson on Oct. 1976 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Fargo. Their two children, Scott and Karen, were her pride and joy. Linda worked over 40 years at Maintenance Engineering in Fargo. She started at the switchboard, moved to commissions, and then to accounting. She spent her last 20+ years processing payroll and payables before retiring in 2020.

Linda enjoyed going for walks, exercising, flower gardening, word and number puzzles, plus she had a life-long love of reading.

Linda is survived by her husband, Jack; son, Scott; daughter, Karen; siblings, Gary Kosfeld, Gordy Kosfeld, Laura Kosfeld; niece, Megan Colette; brothers-in-law, Jim Olson and Robert (Irene) Laine; uncle Robert Patrick; and several cousins.

Memorial Service: 2pm, Thursday, October 24, 2024 with a visitation one hour prior at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Fargo, ND and will be livestreamed on the funeral home website www.hansonrunsvold.com .
