Linda Larson, 85, of Fargo, ND, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, November 16, 2008, at her home with her daughter by her side. Linda O. Ochsner was born June 20, 1923, at home in Zealand, ND, daughter of Theophile and Frieda (Walker) Ochsner. She made her home in the Gardner and Fargo, ND, area until 1956, in the Kremlin and Havre, MT, area until 1981, working at the Sportsman’s Bar in Krelim and the Montana Bar in Havre, returning to Fargo, ND, where she worked at Bethany homes until she retired in 1988. She made Fargo her home, enjoying having family near until her death. Linda had a soft spot in her heart for her children and grandchildren. She loved a big hug, talking and laughing with her children, grandchildren and family. She loved the Twins and never missed watching a game. She had a great sense of style. She will be deeply missed by all. Linda was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Donald Murdoff and Leonard Larson; brothers, Ruben, Edwin, Eugene, Hugo, Fred, John, Raymond, Raymond Sonny; and sisters, Ester and Elsie. She is survived by her sons; Tommy (Dawn) Murdoff, Fargo, ND; Gerald (Jackie) Murdoff, Jackson, MS: Terry (Julia) Murdoff, Alliance, NE; her daughter, Eileen (Robert) McCarthy, Fargo, ND: sisters, Florence (Bennie) Rau; Lavina Bragg, Fargo, ND; Viona (John) Symons, Madera, CA; Norma (Harlan) Lembke, Detroit Lakes, MN; Millie Stagner, Springfield, MO; a brother, Larry (Louise) Ochsner, Hibbing, MN; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild, numerous nieces and nephews.
