Linda Louise Brekke

Linda Louise Brekke (Lyver) of Moorhead passed away in her home, surrounded by family, Tuesday, May 19, 2020, at the age of 72.
Born September 13, 1947 to Florence Jivery & Lloyd Lyver, she grew up in Hibbing, MN. She married her former spouse Jim Brekke on July 8, 1967. They moved to Grafton ND, where they welcomed their sons Scott, Tim, and Troy and in 1976, they moved to Moorhead, MN and had their last son, Joe. Linda was a homemaker and hockey mom, eventually working in the purchasing department at Caterpillar. She enjoyed traveling and spending time at the lake with her life-partner Dennis Aldinger. Her main joy in life was time spent with her family and friends.
She is survived by her partner Denny, her children Scott Brekke, Tim Brekke, Troy Brekke, Joe (Regan) Brekke and Jeff (Lori) Aldinger, and grandchildren, Brittany (David) Herbener, Devan Brekke, Hannah Brekke, Jesse Brekke, Summer Brekke, Marley Davis, Boden Brekke and Haley Aldinger, and her siblings Craig Lyver, Keith (Cindy) Lyver, Claudia (Chuck) Skalsky and sister-in-law Nancy Lyver.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Florence and Lloyd, and her siblings Wesley (Patty) Lyver, Paul Lyver and Alethea Jackson.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
