Lilly Flaten

Lilly E. Flaten, 84, of Fargo, ND, died Saturday, October 9, 2010, at Bethany Retirement Living, Fargo. Lilly Nelson was born January 13, 1926, in Mayville, North Dakota, daughter of Eric and Sygne Nelson. She married Ellerd Flaten January 22, 1944, and moved to Fargo in 1955. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ellerd; son, Dennis; and daughter, Virginia. She is survived by her daughters, Gloria (Ron) Olson; Linda (Mike) Lau; Janice (Rodger) Dahl; and Tammy Flaten, all of Fargo, ND; 13 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Grandma Lilly will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by all friends and family. Funeral: Friday, October 15, 2010, at 10:00 AM, at St. John Lutheran Church, Fargo, ND. Visitation: Thursday, October 14, 2010, from 5-7 PM, at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo, ND. Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo, ND.
