Lillian G. (Larsen) Bredholt, 88, passed away on November 8, 2024, in Woodbridge, Virginia. Lillian was born November 20, 1935, to Lars and Gina Larsen in Brooklyn, New York. After high school, she attended the Lutheran Bible Institute in Teaneck, New Jersey. Upon completion, she returned to Brooklyn and worked as a secretary for General Mills. In 1957, she married Roy Andrew Bredholt. Roy attended seminary, and their first parish was in Portland, Maine. They went on to serve multiple church parishes around the country, including several in North Dakota. They ultimately settled in Fargo, where they owned and operated an Amoco Service Station together.
Throughout her life, Lillian was active in the churches they served, participating in various women's groups, quilting, and Sunday School teaching. Additionally, she volunteered as a Board member for Bethany Homes and was a Leader for Bible Study Fellowship. She and Roy raised three children and enjoyed traveling and time with family and friends.
Lillian was preceded in death by her husband Roy Sr., and her sons, Roy Jr. and Paul. She is survived by her sister, Evelyn Anderson; daughter, Jeanne and husband David; daughter-in-law, LeAnne (Paul); the children and grandchildren of all three siblings; and many nieces and nephews.
