Leroy W. Warren

Leroy William Warren, September 28, 1947 –July 5, 2014, born in Deadwood, SD, to Chester
and Lucille Warren, died in Fargo, ND at Sanford Medical Center.

Leroy was raised in Lead, SD, and graduated from Lead High School in 1967. He was in the US Army, serving in Vietnam from May 1970 until March 1971. After leaving the Army, he worked at Homestake Gold Mine in Lead and at Schlumberger in Gillette, WY, before moving to Fargo, ND to work at The Woodchuck Repair and Restoration from 1990-2011. He purchased The Woodchuck in 2011 and continued working there until an hour before his death. He is survived by Nance Warren, his wife of 43 years; sons, Eric Scott, and Nathaniel Lee; sister, Claudia (Mike) Verdun; uncle, Kenny Nelson; and numerous cousins.

Leroy enjoyed spending time with his beloved family, his dogs, and in his recliner; as well as all aspects of woodworking and furniture repair. At his request, there will be no services.
